About Grid and Floss

Grid and Floss makes modern counted cross stitch patterns: snowflakes, mandalas, small Christmas ornaments, bookmarks and short quote samplers.

Every design is made with our own pattern software and has to pass a check before it goes on sale: colours that are easy to tell apart on the fabric, no scattered single stitches, symbols that are easy to read, and a chart that covers every stitch. Designs whose motifs were drawn with the help of AI tools say so on their page.

In every pattern

• A colour chart with symbols and a black and white chart
• The whole chart on one page, for phones and tablets
• A4 and US Letter PDFs, plus a separate PDF made for the Pattern Keeper app
• A thread key with DMC numbers, names, strands and skeins
• Finished sizes on 14, 16 and 18 count Aida, and a step by step guide for beginners
