Terms of sale

Grid and Floss is run by JL Games UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Burgweg 38, 53123 Bonn, Germany (see Impressum). These terms apply to every purchase on gridandfloss.com. Stand: 15. Oktober 2026.

1. Who sells to you

Payments are handled by Stripe as merchant of record, through its service Link: Stripe sells the pattern to you, collects the payment and any VAT or sales tax, and emails your receipt and invoice. Stripe's buyer terms, linked on the payment page, also apply to the purchase. JL Games UG supplies the files and grants the licence.

2. What you buy

Each product is a digital cross stitch pattern: PDF files (A4, US Letter and a file for the Pattern Keeper app) to download. No paper pattern, fabric or thread is sent. The pictures on this site are digital renderings of the stitched design.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT where it applies. The final price, including any tax for your country, is shown on the payment page before you pay. Your bank may show the amount in your own currency.

4. Delivery

Right after payment you see your order page with the download links. Bookmark it: the links keep working (up to 30 downloads per order). If a link doesn't work or you lost your order page, write to hello@gridandfloss.com with the email you paid with and we send it again.

5. Refunds and right of withdrawal

If a pattern isn't right for you, write to hello@gridandfloss.com within 14 days of buying and you get a full refund. No reason needed, nothing to send back. This is more than the statutory right of withdrawal, which for downloads can end once the download starts: with us you keep the 14 days either way. Files that are broken or not as described are replaced or refunded at any time. Details: refunds.

6. Licence

Patterns are for personal use; finished pieces you stitched yourself may be sold in small numbers. Sharing or reselling the pattern or the PDF is not allowed. Full text: licence.

7. Law

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the protections of the law of the country where you live still apply where they give you more rights.

Die Download-Links erscheinen direkt nach der Zahlung auf Ihrer Bestellseite. Widerruf und Erstattung: Innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach dem Kauf erstatten wir den vollen Preis ohne Angabe von Gründen; eine E-Mail an hello@gridandfloss.com genügt, auch wenn Sie die Dateien bereits heruntergeladen haben. Das geht über das gesetzliche Widerrufsrecht für digitale Inhalte hinaus, das mit Beginn des Downloads erlöschen kann. Es gilt deutsches Recht; zwingende Verbraucherschutzvorschriften Ihres Wohnsitzlandes bleiben unberührt.
